Using a camera to find and track moving objects is fundamental to most surveillance and unmanned systems. The most efficient way of doing this is to use video tracking software to point the cameras for you.

At FortifAI’s core is our state-of-the-art detection and single object video tracker, which uses multiple Deep Neural Networks to detect and maintain an accurate “lock” onto objects of interest. The real-time track position information can direct any IP or SDI camera-based system and is an effective means of reducing the cognitive burden on the operator.

No Training Required

Before tracking can begin, the tracker needs to know which specific object to follow. Conventional detect and track systems commonly require the objects to be moving to be detected. This is useful for finding very small targets but limits the system’s overall effectiveness.

We have made our system effective on stationary and agile objects by leveraging the latest academic research in Deep Learning techniques to find, select and label them within each video frame. This is the fastest and most efficient way of selecting an object.

What about new or unique objects?

Our object tracker does not need prior knowledge of the object of interest. Literally anything can be tracked in seconds by simply dragging a box around it.
